SKY LOBBY

Recently, I am working on some Thai style hotel in Macau, so I consider interior design originally drives from architecture, which is hint of our inteior aspace.I give an example of interior space like a human being:
Interior architecture =bone
Interior finish=flesh
Concept=blood
Decoration=make up
So I define every design from this viewpoint. Some design looks like a fit girl with nature dress; some design looks like masculin boy with tight skin dress.What about yours?...

It is not a rendering

This is not a rendering, this is about design. My passion drive me to draw outline from classical form and transform it into creative expression. After identifying the client's requirment, our design should be clean classical. I try to purify the classical language and wear it with lighter sheer. Heavy can be light, can't they?

classical & neo-classical

Both of them are 5 star hotels, the first very decorative design is for Marriott Presidential suite, so luxury and classical is essential; second design is slightly light and organic, but still use art deco and classical language...which one is your cup of tea?

Silk Road

Turkish designer has brilliant taste to combine with east and west, maybe the location bring this joint. Looking at the headboard of this hotel, purely silky pattern looks very acient, even the sofa arm gives me Thai feeling... I love the chocolate brown and dark blue, with golden silk lines..amazying place.

Mandarian Oriental Barcelona

Spanish female designer Partrica urquiola design this pearl in Barcelona, which sparkle in the hue of spanish shadow. I would say this color is so bright...mixed with white, grey light wood and gold mesh. This seems a bit far from my rigid hotel color scheme...did I use too much beige before?or...Is this hotel lack of red and warm color?
Questions comes out as below:
first, does white color cost more expense? second, are these furniture too chic? last, this designer is rather an artist or furniture designer than architect?Plus, this hotel more like W hotel than MO.
I hope i am too out of date, but it did chanllege me.

neo-classical design

30% of ID is function, 50% is interior architecture, only 20% is FF&E....but what ppl think about? most desigers put half time to select furniture and color as a decorator..did some big man say our job title is interior architect? ..Oop
For this hotel suite, we prefer timeless style than trendy or traditioanl...so, fresh it up from Art deco and classical form,make it soft and pretty.

marsha spa

I would say, this is not my style, but it does work...I spent a few hours to draw it out and another few hours to color, make client very happy....I start thinking about: why do we need tie ourselves as professional designers? If we can do the job easy, cilents will be easy to see.
